SG059 - And Breathe

What is your body telling you when you pay attention to your breath?

Do you notice what it whispers as you allow yourself to fall still?

Perhaps it’s wrestling with you to do more and achieve more.

Perhaps it’s asking you to stop.

Asking you to pause, to connect and to be.

Do you hear what is being said?

This week as I started paying more attention to my breathe I heard the whispers, the volume was low but the message was clear.

It’s time to breathe, time to rest and time to re-fuel.

I’m grateful for paying attention. We know a car without fuel won’t take you far and the same is true for your body and well-being.

As I breathed deeply I connected to what I needed and I’m course correcting appropriately - more sleep, more water, more good food and more switching off.

Ignoring the low fuel indicator in a car would be silly so why take the risk with our health?
